Post Holiday Baby

James was spoiled over the holidays with constant attention and always in someone's arms. So the past few days we have tried to make some fun to compensate for it being the two of us.

Monday it was Super James. He was very cute in his I am Super outfit from Fraunt Jen and Fruncle Todd. Here he is talking to Dad on the phone.

Displaying his super cape and standing skills.

Then one tired super hero.
I think he needs a remote resting on his tummy and he will look just like Big JR.

Today it was more chill. Mimi baby sat while I was at work, and James had to break out a cute new outfit from the holidays.

Merry Christmas

So this will be a long post of photos from Christmas. James had a wonderful time opening and playing with presents. We are in process of putting the house back in order, but I guess that is what New Year's day is for.

Christmas Eve waiting for us to get ready to head over to Terri and Karl's for dinner.

At Karl and Terri's in our antlers with Big JR.

Dinner, playing for the first set of new toys.

Christmas day opening gifts with Mom and Dad.

Christmas morning, family in our PJs.

James opening gifts.

Yes we dressed him up as Santa.

Santa sitting on everyone's laps. Aunt Anne and Uncle Bryan.

Mimi, Grandpa Karl and Uncle Josh.

With Mom and Dad!

Playing with some of the new loot.

And mom fell down on the job with photos while at Fraunt Jen and Fruncle Todd's on Saturday night. James in his rock 'n roll outfit with Jen.

Peanut and LuLu

Lulu has learned that if she lays down next to James, she increases her chance of being petted. Last night we looked over the kitchen island to see these two hanging out. Not sure how she will do with her tail being tugged so will not leave them alone, but good to know that they don't scare each other.

8 months and picking out our tree

James is 8 months today. Cannot believe how much he has changed over the months! Here are the photos we took before his nap. Not too many similes so I hope to get more after he wakes up refreshed. It is so windy we will stay inside today, so I will have to get creative with different locations in the house to spice up the photos.

Checking out the Tree.

This one is my favorite.
From sitting, James can pull himself up inside his crib to his knees and once from knees to feet. We need to lower the crib mattress down, but here are some photos of James seeing what is outside the bars.

Finally here we are getting our Christmas tree. The plan started with us going to cut down our own tree, however it was so cold that we decided to pick one up from the shop instead. Oh well, we had good intensions.

Holiday Card Outakes

I am attempting to take photos for our holiday card. Today would have been perfect lighting, but James' nap went too late and we lost the good sunlight. Here are some of the best photos, but I think I will need to take more later.

Thanksgiving Day

Here are some photos from Thanksgiving. James was really good and enjoyed having everyone around for 4 straight days. Now we need to work at getting back on a schedule that does not include 10:30pm bedtimes.

Playing inside his "walled garden." Thank you Fraunt Jen and Fruncle Todd for the great rollneck sweater. James looked so cute all day.

Peanut and Paulie. James' new doggie thanks to Uncle Bryan's mom. We have decided to call him Paulie after Bryan's stuffed dog growing up.

7 Months!

I didn't get a chance to upload James' 7 months photo on this birthday, but I did remember to take a few. This is the second time we had to take photos inside, but this was much better than 6 months. I absoultly love this photo of James.

We also got some photos of a big 7 month old eating his carrots. He loves the carrots, but not so much the peas. Tomorrow we are trying Sweet Potatos and then next week Banannas.

And here are some photos of James playing from today. He is able to sit up on his own for awhile. I try to keep pillows close by because there have been some head first crashes, but over all he is doing so well.

Finally we are cutting our top left tooth. It is hard to get a photo, but peanut is doing so well. Our little boy is going up so quickly.

First weekend in November

We had a wonderful first weekend in November. We went to Easton on Friday, Gallery Hop on Saturday and Franklin Park on Sunday. Of course for all those events I don't have any photos, but I do has some random photos from around the house. James is learning to smile for the camera.
