Fall Day, First foods and Sink bath

Today has turned out to be a great fall day and finally the leaves on our tree have started to drop. Right before Peanut's nap, I took him outside to get some photos before fall turns in to grey winter.

Since eating rice cereal has gone so well, we are moving up to veggies. On Sunday we took James to Whole Foods to pick out squash, sweet potatos and carrots. I did get his photo in front of the produce stands (chessey I know, but it is a memory), but the best photos where from when we were eating at the cafe.

And finally, James has out grown his baby bath. The incline is just right for him to use his abs to sit up, so we are using his Bumpo in the sink. We have to watch him since he reaches for the hot/cold water handles. He had such a wonderful time. I am so glad we got the extra deep single bin sink.

Tonight is Trick-or-Treat. James will be Robin along Batman (Nick) and Batgirl (me). We will see all the neigborhood kids and then head over to B's to help hand out candy. I will share photos once we are in costume.

Blue Jackets Hockey Game

Saturday night James went to his first Blue Jackets Hockey Game. He loved it. All the bright lights and jumbo-trons. It was very difficult to get a photo of him looking at the camera since there was so much more to look at then his mom wavying at him like a crazy person. Also, I did not get a photo of me rushing to cover his ears anytime there was a power play or a blue jackets score. He did not mind, just looked at me annoyed.

Also Frant Jen and Fruncle Todd got James two really cute outfits to wear. One even has a cape!

1st attempt at Food

So I have spent the past few weeks researching which food was the best to introduce to James as his first food. I have read the different opinions on veggies, fruits and cereals. I think you could find a source the recommends one above all others for all there options. I decided to try rice cereal. We go to the Doctor next week, so then we will talk about introducing a vegetable. Here are photos of James eating his rice cereal.

Also last night we had a visit from the Phantom Ghost. James enjoyed playing with the crackers and the squeeky bear. Now we have to pick a neighbor to scare in return.

6 Months and Trusty Sidekick

James turned 6 months on Friday. The weather was rainy and cold so we did not take very many photos to celebrate. Hopefully soon we will get to have a real photo session to share our cute little boy. I was able to get a few images from Friday.
Playing like a big boy.

All Clean.

Today was my Boobie Group Halloween Party. James' costume arrived in the mail on Saturday (phew). Great ready for it -
It's Robin!!

When he is an adult he cannot be embarassed that his parents dressed him up like a superhero.

And Finally Here are photos from the Boobie Group.

This is Jeffery. At 6 months he weighed 20lbs.

Pumpkin Pie

Today was the McCullough's Garden Party out at the nursery. James made an appearance in his pumpkin costume to celebrate fall. Since this costume will be too small at Halloween, we took this oppourtunity for as many photos as possible. He loved the costume, which hopefully is a good sign for his Halloween costume! - Sorry we took a lot of photos.

OK, Last photo. They make infant OSU hats so of course we got one for James.

Great Grandma's and Bedroom

We are back up with a computer for the time being. Thanks to Uncle Bryan for saving all Peanut's photos!!! We almost lost his first 6 month's of life! Here are some photos that have been on the camera with no where to go.

Great Grandma Judi visited from Florida bring James' first taste of Disney.

I painted James' closet doors with chalkboard paint. Once he is older, he can draw all he wants on them.

Computer Dead

There will be a delay in blog posts since my Mac has decided to die. Hopefully all my photos of peanut are saved (so far so good), but there will not be many postings until I can get her fixed. So sad.
